Kodanadu murder case: Detention of five accused challenged

The detention of five persons, all accused in the murder case reported from the Kodanadu Estate has been challenged in Madaras HC.

CHENNAI: The detention of five persons, all accused in the murder case reported from the Kodanadu Estate belonging to former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, under the Goondas Act, has been challenged in the Madras High Court.

A division bench of Justices A Selvam and P Kalaiyarasan, before which the habeas corpus petitions filed on behalf of Udayan, Satheesan, Tippu, Jamshed Ali and Manoj came up on Thursday, ordered notice to the authorities, returnable by October 26.
