CHENNAI: Alleging that the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ contained only vulgar words and obscene and objectionable scenes, a PIL has been filed in the Madras High Court to ban its telecast.

Claiming that he was filing the PIL to protect Tamil culture and tradition and in the interest and welfare of the general public, MR Saravanan alias Cine Saravanan submitted in his petition that the show deserved immediate ban.

The dress worn by the women participants and their behaviour are so vulgar that no one can watch the programme along with family members. The petition is likely to come up for hearing on Monday (August 7).
