Make public details of NEET talks with Centre: MK Stalin

CHENNAI: DMK leader MK Stalin on Sunday urged Tamil Nadu government to make public the details of talks held with Centre regarding NEET.

He said that these details must be made known so that students can realise what happened. K Veeramani, president, Dravidar Kazhagam, demanded a permanent exemption instead of one-year exemption which he described as first-aid treatment.

Film-maker Kamal Haasan, in a tweet, urged State government to initiate talks on the issue that was connected to the future of students. Taking a jibe against the ruling faction of the AIADMK, he said, “Horse-trading can be talked about later; immediately talk about (NEET) relating to the future of students.”
