NAGERCOIL: The government should come out with a clear count of the fishermen missing after Cyclone Ockhi, said DMK working president M K Stalin duirng his visit to Kanniyakumari on Monday. “While the State has been giving figures of missing fishermen in two digits, the fishermen association have been stating that nearly 500 to 1,000 fishermen are still missing,” Stalin said. Addressing reporters, he said fishermen had expressed their disappointment over the government measures as search operations have come down. He said relief funds for affected farmers should be increased.
