CHENNAI: Here is the text of the letter handed over by Edappadi K Palanisamy to Governor Vidyasagar Rao, stating that he has the majority to take over as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister: 

The AIADMK has obtained an absolute majority in the general elections held on May 16 to constitute the 15th Tamil nadu Assembly and at present has135 of 234 seats. 

As a result of the resignation of Chief Minister O Panneerselvam on February 5, a meeting of the AIADMK legislators has been held on February 14 at 10.45 a.m., at Golden Bay Resort, Kuvathur, Chennai - 603 305 in which a unanimous resolution has been passed electing me as the Leader of the AIADMK Legislature Party. The resolution is herewith enclosed. The resolution is in supersession of the earlier resolution dated February 5. 

I may be given an appointment to submit the list of AIADMK MLAs those who are supporting me as the Leader of the AIADMK Legislature Party along with our ten party leaders and I may be invited to form the Cabinet.
