TIRUNELVELI (TN): In a freak accident, a woman Sub-Inspector was killed on the spot when a van hit her while she was regulating traffic at an accident spot at nearby Thazhayoothu today.
Police said the 30-year-old SI Akila was hit by a Thiruvananthapuram bound van and flung away.
She died on the spot, they said.
