A group of seven MLAs, who are currently staying at Paddington resort in Suntikoppa, along with party’s Karnataka Karnataka state secretary V Pugalendi, were stopped by the Tamil Nadu police on Abbe Falls Road on Sunday evening. Three days ago, another MLA, Balaji, had filed a complaint against Tamil Nadu police accusing them of raiding the resort where they are staying and forcing them to support Palaniswami.

Visit to Talacauvery

Seventeen of the 19 AIADMK MLAs who are staying at the resort on Sunday visited Talacauvery, the birth place of River Cauvery. The MLAs took a dip in the ‘pushkar’ and offered puja to Goddess Cauvery. It is said that T T V Dinakaran was to visit the resort on Sunday but cancelled his trip at the last moment.
After the meet was cancelled, the MLAs planned the visit amid rains. Andipattai MLA Tamil Tanga Selvam said that they will participate in a protest in Tiruchi on September 19 against NEET. He also said they will meet their leader Sasikala in Bengaluru jail on September 20.
