Actor-director Kamal Haasan, who had earlier stressed that he is definitely not siding with BJP-aligned parties, has said that superstar Rajinikanth is more suitable ally for the saffron party due to his 'religious beliefs'.

Kamal, while speaking to a TV channel, also said that he had informed Rajinikanth of his political entry. "Rajini is on another path. We have set our own path and to use that comparison is vulgar", says Haasan.

Kamal Haasan has made it clear that he will be joining politics soon and float his own party. He had met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal last week.

Saying the media may have guessed what they discussed, the actor had said that all those who fight corruption would be his "relatives" and as such Kejriwal "too is a relative".

While rumours are rife that Rajinikanth too would enter politics, the actor is yet to confirm. The BJP has been trying hard to woo the superstar and the actor himself has given hints during his public appearances.

In May this year, while addressing a large gathering of his fans, Rajinikanth made it clear that it's not quite the time yet for his political entry.
