CHENNAI : Health minister C Vijaya Baskar on Tuesday inaugurated various facilities at the Government Chengalpet Medical College Hospital.He inaugurated the Tamil Nadu Accident and Emergency Care Initiative (TAEI) centre, a new unit of health department for treatment of road accident cases to reduce fatalities. He also inaugurated a District Early Intervention Centre, Geriatric Unit and also Central lecture hall. A sensory garden was also declared open as part of DEIC. According to doctors, it is a first-of-its kind garden in the government sector for children.
