Four held for following CM’s convoy

Four men, who followed the Chief Minister’s convoy from the Chennai airport in order to gain entry into the Kauvery Hospital, were arrested on Sunday night.

CHENNAI : Four men, who followed the Chief Minister’s convoy from the Chennai airport in order to gain entry into the Kauvery Hospital, were arrested on Sunday night.According to police, “An Innova car followed the Chief Minister’s convoy from the airport. While the CM’s convoy was entering his residence on the Greenways Road, the authorities identified the car and nabbed the men. The four men confessed that they came to know that the CM would be visiting former CM and DMK chief M Karunanidh after his return from Salem. Hence, they decided to follow the convoy and gain entry into the Kauvery Hospital in order to see Karunanidhi being treated in the hospital for the past few days.”

The men were identified as Govindh Singh (29), who works at a textile shop, Jegadeesh Kumar (30), a medical representative, Raja (27) who works at a restaurant, all three from Ekkaduthangal and Sathish  (29) from Kundrathur.
