I can comment only about TN state. Since DMK came to power, especially since M. Karunanidhi, this kind of behavior has become prevalent. The usual upbringing of children ethically and morally has become a thing of the past. Decent folks are paying the price now after five or so decades. This trend can be reversed by today's parents. The current generation, however Is lost.
