Syndicate Bank Crosses Rs 4 Lakh Crore Business

HYDERABAD: Leading public sector bank, the Syndicate Bank, has crossed Rs 4 lakh crore business as on September this year.

Its business in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states has crossed `37,000 crore and opened 1.50 lakh accounts under Jan Dhan Yojana.

The bank, which will be celebrating Founder’s Day this month, is taking up several corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities besides opening branches and introducing more value-added products. With focus on retail credit, the bank has introduced schemes such as waiver of documentation and processing charges.
