KCR's State Tour to Start From Adilabad

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will soon go on his district tours kick-starting from the most backward district of TS, Adilabad.

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will soon go on his district tours kick-starting from the most backward district of TS, Adilabad.

During the tour, the CM would stay for a week in each district and conduct an Assembly segment-wise review. The CM would also inspect and review the progress of irrigation projects, drinking water projects, roads and bridges.

Prior to the district tour, the CM on Tuesday held a meeting with Government Whip Nallala Odelu, MLAs Kova Lakshmi, Vithal Reddy, Chennaiah and State Planning Commission vice-chairman S Niranjan Reddy.

The CM directed R&B minister Tummala Nageswara Rao to supervise the construction of Mancherial-Chandrapur four lane road. He also directed irrigation minister T Harish Rao to expedite works related to lift irrigation projects in Adilabad district and asked Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy to personally inspect the construction works of additional sub-stations in eastern parts of Adilabad.

CM Meets Guv

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.  According to sources, KCR invited the Governor for the Ayuta Maha Chandi Yagam to be conducted at his farmhouse from December 23. KCR reportedly also discussed the appointment of vice-chancellors to various universities in the state.
