My Motto is Well-being of All: CM

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said his aim was to see all the people happy in Bangaru Telangana. Speaking after admitting the followers of Ibrahimpatnam MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy into the TRS on Monday while returning from Nagarjunasagar, he said the weaker sections were happy after the disbursement of Aasara pensions but in the same breath, admitted he was aware that some people were not happy with the way the pensions were being distributed.

Rao said his government would supply nine-hour power to tillers during the day time from the next kharif season.

“One day will come when farmers in Telangana State too will raise three crops,” he added.

Irrigation tanks in the State were neglected in the last 60 years, he alleged and said that was the reason why his government took up Mission Kakatiya at an estimated cost of Rs 20,000 crore. Rao also announced Rs 10 crore for the development of Ibrahimpatnam Assembly segment and said central lighting facility would be provided from Hyderabad to Ibrahimpatnam.

TDP MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy said he was attracted by the leadership of Rao and joined the TRS.
