HYDERABAD: Will Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi stay overnight at a remote tribal hamlet in Adilabad district during his visit to the State on May 10?

Well, that depends on whether the Special Protection Group (SPG), which takes care of his security, allows him to do so. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee has planned Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Adilabad district on May 11.

According to the schedule prepared by the TPCC, Rahul will land in Hyderabad on May 10 evening and proceed straight to Nirmal in Adilabad district.

The TPCC has short-listed four tribal hamlets including Saingar tanda, Mahavir tanda and Potupalli in Adialabd district for Rahul’s overnight stay. As per the schedule, Rahul is to undertake a padayatra for around 15 km in Adilabad district to console distressed. He will interact with five families of farmers in Laxman Chanda mandal in the district.
