HYDERABAD: Political bigwigs of Telangana administration, including Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, picked up the broom and can on Saturday in a symbolic clean up of the city for a Swachh Hyderabad.
Governor Narasimhan, who picked up the broom in Khairatabad, exhorted the people to ensure clean surroundings, as DGP Anurag Sharma, GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar, and almost all the top officials and public representatives did their bit for the campaign to clean the city.
At the official launch of the function at Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Chief Minister Rao claimed that Swachh Hyderabad would be unique in many ways as the government would involve local residents in making localities clean and green.
