ADILABAD: Enforcement officials have seized 180 quintals of PDS rice from Srinivasa Traders in Luxettipet of the district on Tuesday.
According to sources, as many as 405 bags of rice weighing 180 quintals were loaded in a lorry by Srinivasa Traders for illegally transporting to Maharashtra.
On a tip-off, officials reached seized the rice after identifying the rice meant for PDS. Enforcement Officer Satish Kumar said they booked a case on the trader and also seized the lorry and handed over to police.
