HYDERABAD: A division bench of the Hyderabad High Court on Monday allowed the petitioner to withdraw his PIL and file a writ petition afresh challenging the GO Ms No.44 dated October 15, 2015.
When the PIL filed by J Ram Mohan Chowdhary of the city has come up for hearing, the bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Dilip B Bhosale and Justice S V Bhatt after perusing the affidavit observed that the petition was not maintainable. It pointed out that the affidavit was not properly drafted.
The petitioner has challenged the impugned GO issued by the Telangana state transport department for re-assignment of vehicle registration number by substituting letters ‘AP’ with ‘TS’.
Following a request by the petitioner, the bench granted liberted to him to file a petition afresh on the issue.
