Illegal Buildings: Officials Told to Act Tough

HYDERABAD: Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed the officials of the department of urban development to prepare a policy to prevent illegal constructions in cities and towns in the State. Reviewing the functioning of the department at his camp office on Monday, KCR said the government is planning to provide basic amenities at all towns and cities.

KCR directed the officials to construct two more reservoirs in Hyderabad and ensure supply of piped water to each and every household in the city.  The cities and towns should be developed in a scientific manner.

Advisor to state D Srinivas, Municipal Administration and Urban Development principal secretary MG Gopal were present.
