HYDERABAD:The Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday directed the department of Tourism and Culture of Telangana to consider the representation of Rachana Television Private Limited and pass appropriate orders within a week on the plea seeking permission to perform “Karthika Masam” programme at the NTR stadium near Indira Park of the city.
Justice A Ramalingeswara Rao was dealing with a petition by Rachana television limited (NTV channel) seeking directions to the director of tourism department to accord permission to perform its proposed programme at NTR stadium from Nov 10 to 30, 2015. The counsel for the petitioner complained that the authorities concerned have not considered their plea to hold the proposed programme.
