HYDERABAD: Kerala government will conduct an awareness meeting soon in Hyderabad for the benefit of pilgrims planning to go to Sabarimala.
Endowments minister A Indrakaran Reddy attended the southern states endowments ministers conference at Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday on the arrangements for Sabarimala pilgrimage this year.
Speaking on the occasion, Indrakaran Reddy wanted Kerala government to provide basic amenities to devotees coming from Telangana to Sabarimala.
He wanted Kerala government to set up a control room exclusively to Telugu speaking devotees and provide food and accommodation.
During the meeting, Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy assured that his government would allocate five acre land in Sabarimala for construction of Telangana Bhavan.
The Telangana Bhavan will be useful for devotees from Telangana to Sabarimala.Indrakaran Reddy said that once the Kerala government allotts the site, both the states would sign an agreement for the Bhavan.
Indrakaran Reddy thanked Oommen Chandy for his decision to allot the land.
