KHAMMAM: Aswaraopet former MLA Vaggela Mitrasena (49) passed away on Saturday while undergoing treatment at Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad for kidney ailments.
Mitrasena was admitted to NIMS on January 28 due to kidney related issues. It is said that his two kidneys were damaged. According to family members, he had been suffering from kidney ailments for last several months.
He was elected as an MLA from Congress in 2009. Prior to this, he worked as the market committee chairman, Aswaraopet from 2007-2009. His family has been sailing with the Congress for a long time.
