Government to give clothes to 2L Muslims

HYDERABAD: The state government will distribute new clothes to two lakh Muslims for Ramzan festival this year too as it did last year.

This year, the clothes will be distributed at 100 places in Hyderabad and across the state from June 17 to 22.

Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, reviewing the arrangements for Ramzan at a meeting held here on Tuesday, directed officials to distribute clothes and provide all basic amenities at  mosques in the state during the Ramzan month.

Rao will host Iftar for Muslims at the Nizam College grounds here on June 26.
