WARANGAL: A second year civil engineering student of KITS, Warangal has reportedly committed suicide by a hanging from a ceiling fan in his hostel room on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as B Sandeep Goud (19) of Kothagudem. According to police, his roommates had found the door bolted from inside when they returned from class at around 1 pm. They grew suspicious after several knocks at the door failed to elicit any response from Sandeep. They peeped into the room through the ventilator only to find him hanging from the fan. Later, police shifted the body to MGM hospital. It is learnt that he took the extreme step due to failure in love. Police registered a case and took up further investigation.
