HYDERABAD: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has received two awards for conservation of fuel for the year 2014-15 and also for acheiving 5.46 KMPL under highest KMPL categeory in fuel efficiency.
Joint mananging director of TSRTC G V Ramana Rao received the awards during the 60th annual general body meeting of ASRTU in Banglore on Tuesday.
This is the first time that TSRTC has received the awards after the formation of Telangana state.
TSRTC has also won a runner up award for improvement of fuel KMPL from 5.41 to 5.46 for maximum improvement in KMPL in fuel efficiency for the year 2014-15 in mofussil services.
‘’These awards were achieved only because of the highest level of commitment, dedicated and collective effort of all the employees,’’ the joint manager director said.
