Four-lane flyover soon in Amberpet

HYDERABAD: A four-lane flyover will come up on Amberpet in the city and an elevated corridor will come up at Uppal as part of the expansion of Hyderabad-Bhupalpatnam road.

Roads and buildings minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, who held a review on the second-day on Saturday, told the officials that the consultants engaged should prepare the designs for the flyover.

Rao asked the officials to turn Aramghad-Shamshabad road and Hyderabad-Nagapur highway into a six lane road. 

He directed the officials to plan for the construction of more flyovers and underpasses keeping the future needs of the city in mind.

Rao also asked them to take up geometric improvements on NH-44 at Shadnagar bypass at an estimated cost of `139 crore. “A flyover will be constructed on NH-44 at Suchitra junction

to Jodlapur,” the minister said and asked officials to plant more trees along highways.
