NIZAMABAD : Academic year began after summer vacations for many educational institutions long ago but for Telangana University  regular academic activity is yet to start. TU officials have not yet announced their academic schedule. During summer, the varsity declared holidays till July second week but till now there is no official announcement on the reopening of colleges and hostels.

The reopening is uncertain as officials want to collect pending mess bills from students which reached huge amounts for last four years. “We hope that students come forward to pay the bills,” TU V-C Prof P Sambaiah said adding that they would allow only those who cleared their mess bills.
