HYDERABAD: A 11-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised and killed by a teenage neighbour, who, the police said, has sexually assaulted 15 other boys over the past few months. The accused was arrested on Thursday. Chandrayangutta police said the victim went missing on June 29 and the parents have lodged a complaint with the police.

Investigating the case,  the police stumbled upon a CCTV footage that showed the 16-year-old  youngster accompanying the boy towards a government school in Barkas on the day he went missing. The boy’s body was recovered from the terrace of the school. Upon questioning the youngster, it came to light that he had murdered the boy after abusing him sexually.  He killed the boy with an iron rod on his head after the victim said he will complain to his parents about the act, police said.

Another shocking thing that came to light was that the teenager had allegedly sexually assaulted at least 15 minor boys over the past few months luring them with chocolates, police said.  He also used to pay them `20 for their co-operation.

He had runaway to Mumbai a few months ago and recently returned home. He told the police that he himself was sexually assaulted by two persons. Police booked a case order to murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) against the accused.
