HYDERABAD: The ruling TRS and opposition Congress continue to spar over the decision of their respective party decisions over whom they would support as the Presidential candidate.
The Congress, which had earlier said it has its own strategy to ensure that other parties too vote for their Presidential candidate Meira Kumar, said some of the TRS MLAs are ready to vote in favour of Meira Kumar. “We have support of 38 MLAs including those of TRS,’’ Congress MLA S A Sampath Kumar said. TRS MP B Suman retorted back saying that the Congress is making Meira Kumar a scapegoat.
