Seven Maoist militia members surrendered before the police in Bhadrachalam on Saturday.

BHADRACHALAM: Seven Maoist militia members surrendered before the police in Bhadrachalam on Saturday.Disclosing the details to mediapersons in Bhadrachalam, Additional Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt said that seven militia members had surrendered to the police because of the work they had done on the ground.

The surrendered militia members are Madakam Laxman (23), joined the dalam in 2014 and used to carry 303 riffle while fighting for the outfit. Tellam Kosa (35) joined the banned group in 2009. Kudam Adema (28), resident of Chennapuram in Cherla mandal joined the party in 2009. Paddam Kosaiah (25) from Chennapuram was involved in 13 cases. Madakam Jogaiah (30) was involved in 11 cases.Madakam Lingaiah (40) was involved in seven cases. Madakam Dulaiah (35) from Chennapuram was involved in seven cases.
