HYDERABAD: A day after three persons of a family attempted suicide in front of the Chief Minister’s camp office, senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao lodged a complaint on Friday with Punjagutta police seeking action on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao by registering cases in connection with the incident.

Police, who received complaint, stated that they would take legal opinion in initiating action.
In his complaint, the Congress leader stated that the three persons -- Nagaraju, his daughter Navya and nephew Srinivas -- had come from Nalgonda district to meet KCR seeking financial assistance. However, security staff denied them the entry.

Vexed over the security staff’s attitude, they attempted suicide by consuming pesticide.  The negligence of the Chief Minister drove the victims to take the extreme step, he said and requested to register cases and take action.
