HYDERABAD: While condemning IT minister K T Rama Rao’s remarks against top leaders of the Congress, TPCC chief spokesperson Dasoju Sravan has alleged that the family members of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao are directly connected with sand mafia.
Addressing mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday, Sravan said rules were twisted to allot sand mining tenders in favour of Goldmines Mineral Company.
According to him, the state government was collecting only Rs 8,250 for each truck of sand while the same was being sold in the open market for about Rs 80,000.
