HYDERABAD: Telangana Minorities Welfare department has issued a Government Order (GO) for conducting dawat-e-iftar and cloth distribution for four lakh Muslims belonging to economically backward section across Telangana.
The budget has been fixed at Rs 50 crore. However, Majlis Bachao Tehreek asserted that the GO has mentioned June 3 as the last date to submit the list of beneficiaries when the GO itself was issued on June 1, shows that the department is trying to play with people’s sentiments.
