7 held for job fraud, Rs 20 lakh seized

A gang of 14 members, led by a former Aeronautical engineering from AP, duped over 100 persons on the pretext of arranging jobs.

HYDERABAD: A gang of 14 members, led by a former Aeronautical engineering from AP, duped over 100 persons on the pretext of arranging jobs. The Rachakonda police arrested seven of them and seized `20 lakh cash and several fake documents from them. As a modus operandi, the accused arranged interviews for the victims at the Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad and some were even taken to Mumbai for interviews.

In another incident, a 40-year-old person, who duped a number of youth on the pretext of providing jobs in industries while collecting an amount of `25 lakh was arrested by the Task Force sleuths on Monday. Police seized `50,000 worth cash, computer, laptop and fake job offers.
