HYDERABAD: A 22-year-old engineering student, who created a fake Instagram account and an email id profile of a friend and posted nude pictures and abusive comments on the accounts was arrested by the Cybercrime cell of Rachakonda Police.
Vittal Kumar hailing from Warangal district and the victim, who were once close friends, studied together in Aurora Engineering College. He developed a grudge against the victim when she made friends with other boys. In an attempt to take revenge on her, he created a fake Instagram account and started sending nude images, videos and abusive messages to the victim, who later lodged a police complaint.
