ADILABAD: Caretaker ministers A Indrakaran Reddy, Jogu Ramanna and a few former MLAs of the TRS party were obstructed by farmers and others villagers while campaigning for the ensuing Assembly elections on Friday.

The candidates had to struggle to enter the villages in various of the ten constituencies in erstwhile Adilabad district. TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao had held a meeting with the party candidates, in order to boost their morale. Identifying the issues with the ongoing campaign, he asked the candidates to bring the attention of voters to the welfare schemes, especially Rythu Bandhu.

Following the meeting, the candidates began rigorous campaigning at their respective segments, seeking votes from the public.
