HYDERABAD: The monsoon session of the state legislature is likely to commence on October 25, four days before the mandatory time of six months gets over. According to legislative affairs minister T Harish Rao, the dates for the session have not yet been finalised.
Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will convene a meeting in a day or two and finalise the dates. There should not be a gap of more than six months between one session and another of the Assembly. The six-month mandatory period will end on October 29. So, the legislature session will commence in the last week of October, sources said.
