Wednesday night was the occasion for twin celebrations at the Hyatt Regency with world’s leading single malt whisky, Glenfiddich, honouring India’s well-known couturier J J Valaya’s photographic art show titled ‘The Twins’.
Glenfiddich Artists in Residence is a programme by the malt maker to promote artists across the globe. Valaya was one of the 70 artists who visited Dufftown, home to Glenfiddich distillery in Scotland, and clicked The Twin warehouses that gave us glimpses of his photographic impressions.
The evening hosted by Aparna Batra, the country manager of William Grant & Sons, and Valaya had a four-course dinner paired with variants of Glenfiddich. Maurice Doyle, the group marketing director of William Grant & Sons gave a brief on the Glenfiddich as we tucked in lamb-chops with 15-year-old malt.
