When a designer upgrades from a smaller flagship store to a larger one and that too in Delhi’s luxury shopping destination, it’s a definite that the designer is doing great. Wednesday night Gaurav Gupta celebrated his ‘Paradigm Shift’. Many would have confused the evening’s concept—paradigm shift— with Gupta shifting his store at DLF Emporio to a larger one. But no, it was a concept that displayed collaboration of couture with theatre, robes and films and tradition with its contemporary interpretation albeit at his new store.
Gupta’s new store at The Emporio is definitely an impressive one and city’s fashionistas didn’t miss the opportunity to flock in.
There was Kalyani Saha resplendent in a Gupta sari, Tanisha Mohan in a designer’s draped creation, Sunil Sethi, Tarun Tahiliani and Nisha Singh among others.
