Diva delights Delhi with its new menu

A cozy Italian Trattoria and Pizzeria, Diva Piccola at Hauz Khas Village has whipped up a new menu for a festive indulgence. It presents an expanded main course section with a wider selection of meats and vegetarian options, and retaining the trattoria and pizzeria influence with an emphasis on starters, pasta and pizzas.

For starters, you can try the new Crostini with Caramelised Onion, Mushrooms and Walnut, Marinated Zucchini Carpaccio tossed with Basil, Pine Nuts and Lemon Honey dressing, Mixed Greens with Roasted Pears, Pecorino Shavings and Balsamic dressing and the Mozzarella and Parmesan Fritters served with Tomato Basil Sauce. And if you feel like trying something a bit more assorted, you can pick the antipasti board which awaits with new surprises.

New pasta and risotto options are must-try items on the menu. Choose from the Classic Gnocchi tossed with Gorgonzola Sauce, the Tagliolini Pasta with mixed Mushroom, Thyme and Porcini essence, or the Ravioli filled with Ricotta and Ham tossed in a very light cheese sauce. New entrants to the risottos are the Risotto with Green Beans, Parmesan and Rocket, and the Delicate Saffron Risotto with Seafood, Lemon zest and Parsley. “Diva Piccola will soon turn one. Over the past year, we’ve had a fabulous response from our diners. A new season coming in means incorporating freshly available ingredients. The new menu sees new dishes and we’ve tried to keep them simple yet tasty,” says owner and chef, Ritu Dalmia.

Welcoming a new member to the pizza family this time round is the Olio Aglio Pizze - pizza Bread with Olive Oil, Garlic and Chilly that makes for a delicious snack. Savour in succulent meat and perfectly cooked seafood in the mains. Look out for the Hunter style Chicken with Tomato, Peppers, Olive, Garlic and Red Chilly, Chicken Breast cooked in the wood-fired oven with Creamy Mushroom and Wine Sauce, Polenta Crusted Basa Fish with Herby Olive Oil dressing, and a lot more. Another special treat are the Paninis that are available between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm during the hours that pizzas are not available. All this and more at Diva Piccola, 30, Hauz Khas Village.
