Defence Minister A K Antony’s wife Elizabeth has land and house whose value is around Rs 30 lakh. While Antony has movable assets to the tune of Rs 2,81,814, his wife has one second hand WagonR Car and the retirement benefits to the tune of Rs 10 lakh.
Another Malayalee, the Science and Technology Minister Vayalar Ravi has a two-bedroom flat worth Rs 20 lakh and one Ford car. His wife owns 30 cents of land in Kerala with a value of Rs 90 lakh and has 900 grams of gold.
Surface Transport Minister C P Joshi is also a “poor” minister; he has declared immovable property worth Rs 84,868 and movable assets to the tune of Rs 65,56,093. Similarly, Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Mukul Wasnik has shown immovable property worth around Rs 26 lakh and movable property to the tune of Rs 20,55,596 along with one Maruti car.
