Located in the heart of the eclectic Peacock Lane in Shahpur Jat, designer Nikasha Tawadey launched her showroom—Nikasha Studio—this week. The manor is a one-stop shop for the best in resort wear, Western wear and bridal collections from this contemporary brand.

Tucked away in the creative hub of the capital city, the space showcases vibrant collections. Tawadey says, “Delhi loves dressing up and we love to dress ladies who love to dress.” The bespoke bridal collection is now available along with the latest festive line 2012/13.

Inspired by Kalidas’ poem Veni, a garland of flowers, Tawadey’s work recreates the Indian bridal festivities through ethnic weaves. “I am now looking forward to Wills India Fashion Week where we will be showing our ‘Spring Summer 2013 Line’ and the new ‘Festive Collection’. Watch out for more exciting developments in the near future with an accessories and children’s line that is in the pipeline,” says Tawadey.
