Fruits flavour the food here

The Fruit Forest offers umpteen choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner and its menu comprises a lot of...fruits.

The décor at the newly launched restaurant, the Fruit Forest, is inspired by fruits to give a fresh take to everyday dining. How long the concept stays afresh in your memory will remain to be seen, but for now, the place does undoubtedly look unique and the menu comprises a lot of fruits (no surprises there...)

The Fruit Forest opens for breakfast and the choices are umpteen. At the cereal station, you can have your fill of wheat flakes, rice flakes, choco flakes, muesli, frosted flakes, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Raisin Bran and others. Toppings like Almonds, Cashew nuts, Pistachio, Prunes, Apple and a lot more are on offer. You can top this up with chocolate syrup, honey, yoghurt, milk and more. “Fruit Forest is an honest, all-vegetarian place that brings together the best of all worlds to form a concept of indulgence, relevance and charm,” says chef Nawal Prakash, adding that fruits remain at the basis of all dishes served.

Other wholesome breakfast options include fresh fruit platters, pancake stax with maple syrup, muffins, croissants, waffles, toasties, and more.

For lunch and dinner, options vary from Grilled Vegetable Panini with Pesto to Grilled Apple and Nutella Panini with Cheddar. Cottage Cheese Piri Piri Wrap with Pineapple, Tomato Mozzarella and Basil Panini, Falafel Pita Wrap with Hummus and Cacik and Chili Wada Roomali Wrap are the other specials. “If there is a healthy angle to fruits, then there is an indulgent angle to fruits too and the above dishes are a small example of how delicious fruit-based recipes can be,” says the chef.

Beverage options at the restaurant are ample. Smoothies like Mixed Berry Smoothie, Pineapple and Mint Smoothie, Mango and Strawberry Smoothie, Dragon Fruit and Kiwi Smoothie are just some of them. The shakes section comprises Strawberry, Banana, Mango, Cheeku, Mixed Berry, Chocolate and more.
