Moon River announced the launch of the Moon River Salon, a gathering with a cultural agenda with its first event—book reading of Dirty Love by Sampurna Chattarji, in conversation with Anita Roy. The event was co-hosted by the publisher, Penguin.

The stories in Dirty Love, set in Mumbai, the city of dreams, are on the city’s fast-paced life, rain and filth.

The event was well attended and we saw designer duo, David Abraham and Rakesh Thakore, historian Urvashi Butalia, actor Sanjana Kapoor and Anmol Nayyar of Bryan Garnier.

The Moon River Salon is a monthly concept and would include art, design, theatre and film-based events.
