Politician Jaya Jaitly, a textile aficionado, inaugurated a unique exhibition Nayaab on December 10. Curated by Sharan Apparao and Rupa Sood, it showcases the edge of design and skill of traditional Indian textile. On till today at Lodhi Hotel, Nayaab presents works of 16 designers like Abdul Jabbar Khatri, Aneeth Arora-Pero; Darshan Shah- Weaver  Studio; Kashmir Loom, Anjali Kalia-Kora, Gaurang Shah, Meera Kumar-Indian Textiles,  Meera and Muzafar Ali-Kotwara, Mona Lamba and Pali Sachdev- Mona Pali; Neeru Kumar-Tulsi and others.

TH.JPGThe preview was the perfect occasion to honour two famous textile revivalists, Suraiya Hassan and Jenny Housego.
