Aren’t we all a bit tired of endless bridal shows and wedding exhibitions? Starting July, the capital gets to see back-to-back exhibitions, some good, some bad and a few ugly ones. Runway Bridal Exhibition kicks off today at the Ashoka Hotel and to launch it, Ramola Bachchan hosted a fashion show and cocktails on the evening of August 31.
A fashion show followed with booze on-the-house always has takers, so we had a crowd but not a very fancy one. We spotted a few respectable and known faces like Rohit Bal, JJ Valaya, Leena Singh, Rina Dhaka, Bianka Peralta and Ankur and Smriti Bhatia.
Ramola, who is doing the Runway Bridal for the fourth consecutive year, is upbeat about her venture and claims to have participants clamouring for space.
