NEW DELHI: The Kejriwal regime has been making promises of government services aplenty but it has not been doing much about complaints pending on the public grievance portal.

The Public Grievance Monitoring System (PGMS), which comes under the Chief Minister's Office, has over 1,900 pending complaints, including 420 relating to education and 580 to urban shelter improvement.

The system has sent several reminders to departments concerned to address the complaints but to no avail.
The matter has been brought to the notice of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, after which a note has been sent to all departments heads.

Bipin Rai of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board said, “Very often, the grievances we receive have to go through a lengthy process. Till the time the complaint is not fully resolved, the portal shows that it’s pending,” he said.
