Similar rallies were taken out in many other districts of the State, including Nizamabad and Mahabubnagar.
The Sanyukt Kisan Morcha also appealed to the participants to return to their respective protest venues.
From Nashik alone, 20,000 farmers had joined the march and we are expecting 50,000 farmers will reach in Mumbai on January 25 from other parts of the state.
The All India Kisan Sabha's (AIKS) Maharashtra unit in a statement said around 15,000 farmers set out for the state capital from Nashik on Saturday in several tempos and other vehicles.
The jatha to Delhi will be led by AIKS national president Dr Ashok Dhawale, J P Gavit, Kisan Gujar, Dr Ajit Nawale, Sunil Malusare and others.

The AIKS, in a statement, said that though Modi and the BJP had generated high hopes and got the support of farmers in the 2014 elections they betrayed the peasantry.
AIKS accused the BJP-led Maharashtra government of not keeping the promises it had made to farmers last month.
