Security forces recover more pistols than AK-47s from J&K terrorists, indicates shortage of weapons in terror outfits
According to official data compiled by the forces, accessed by ANI, security forces have recovered 203 pistols and 152 AK-47 from terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir till October 15.
Official sources suspected that the weapons were smuggled from Bangladesh and meant for a militant organisation of Northeast.

A news report said that the Indian Army has a requirement for around 770,000 AK-47 203 rifles, of which 100,000 will be imported and the rest will be manufactured in India.
