This is the third time that the court is postponing the plea in the wake of fresh developments.
In his petition, he said the media was violating the Ernakulam additional sessions court’s order of holding the trial ‘in-camera’.
The Crime Branch as part of identifying the seventh accused had summoned Balachandrakumar to its office in Kochi on Friday.
To this, the prosecution clarified that the search was carried out after obtaining a warrant from the court.
The state informed the court that until then Dileep will not be arrested.
Mobile phones and computer harddisks were seized during the search that lasted for eight hours, but no pistol was found.
Though the counsel sought an order not to arrest the petitioners, including Dileep, the court declined to pass the order and adjourned the hearing to Friday.

Balachandra said that one of the accused had told Dileep that for this he will have to spend Rs 1.5 crore for a gang of rowdies who can be engaged for the job.
According to police, Vishnu was the tenth accused in the actor abduction case. He was made an approver after he promised to disclose all details regarding the crime.
The High Court on Friday said there should be a specific reason for re-examining a witness in the actor abduction case.
The Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Thursday assigned a magistrate to record the statement of Director P Balachandrakumar as part of the probe into the actor abduction and rape case.
The Supreme Court had set February 16 as the deadline to complete the trial.
The police team on Tuesday submitted film director P Balachandrakumar’s statement given to them in a sealed cover at the Ernakulam Additional Special Sessions Court.
